Nope, I’m not. I never did get this. I do remember my grandmother throwing a pinch of salt over her shoulder when cooking. I think it was for good luck that the meal would taste good. The meal was always good. I doubt the salt-throwing had anything to do with it.
I have heard of the broken mirror, don’t step on a crack, or the black cat under the ladder. I think it is all silly. What will happen will happen. The only thing that changes your outcome is not luck; it is how you prepare, plan, and don’t be stupid.
