Describe something you learned in high school.

I can’t think of anything from high school that stayed with me as a life lesson. In a way, it set the bar a little low for me to learn from after high school, and maybe that is the lesson in disguise? I had to maintain a “C” average to play hockey; I was capable of more and maintained a “B-” with no studying. I could have been better, but the standard was minimal.

  1. I remember a lot of what I learnt in high school but none of it is of much use to me as an adult.

    1. for sure, none of the geometry is of much use. High school should teach life skills and the basics or reading , writing, history, humanities and math any class advanced should be the kid wants it and fill in the gaps with what is the stock market, how does money work, how does the economy work. Something they need.

      1. Totally agree, those are the only things we can actually take into adulthood.
