Well, this would have been more applicable a year ago when my life was much different, and I was still working. Back then, there were a few things to unwind with, sometimes at night, such as sitting quietly alone to watch the news. Sometimes it was sitting outside on the deck if the weather was nice. Today life is much quieter, but there are still moments when quiet time is great, and I now sit with a coffee at a local coffee shop, people-watching. This is still a common activity for me; people-watching is something I’ve stuck with as my most consistent way to unwind. This is something I always did, even when working, but now, living in a city with a lot of outdoor activity, I can do it on a street corner, whereas in the past I did it in a mall.
