My ideal life? As I approached my last few years of working, my goal was just to retire, be able to go out to eat a few times a week, enjoy a coffee or two, and have a local place to read a book and have a good place to live that is safe with a roof over my head and a place to sleep. Of course, be healthy and have my family around. By those standards, I’m living pretty well. The only downside is that I still have two of my kids in the US now that I retired to Brazil, so I don’t see them as often as I would like. Given what I set out to do, I came pretty close with the help I received. love and guidance of my wife.
One thing we did hope for was to be able to travel more; maybe that will happen over the next few years. We will see. So I guess I’m living an ideal life, and I can’t complain. Of course, you can kick in with a little tip to help pay for the retired guy’s coffee, which will help make it more ideal 🙂 Support the craft below.
