This is something I recently adopted, for a couple of reasons. If you have been following my blog, you may now know that I retired about a year ago. I’m also an expat and moved to Brazil. I now live in Rio and it is much smaller for living space, this makes you live minimally just by location.
However, it has also been quite refreshing. You learn to keep what you need, not just acquire things. It makes life easier to make decisions, less clutter, and makes things just simpler. I have a very small closet and a few pairs of shoes. Everything I have I use, nothing hangs around. We also live more within our means because we are retired and have less space. If something comes in, then something goes out. It feels great living like this.
Thanks for reading BeingKevin.
In a world built on scrolling past everything in seconds, I genuinely appreciate you stopping here for a moment. If the post gave you something to think about, made you laugh, or even made you disagree, I’d love to hear from you in the comments. A quick rating helps, too, and goes a long way toward supporting the site. And if you’d like to help keep BeingKevin going, a small tip is always appreciated — never expected, but deeply valued. Thanks again for being here
