What’s the best and worst airport you’ve been to?
I always hated going to Logan in Boston. Like so many Boston roads, it was complicated to get there and even more complicated to leave. The traffic was horrible.
The airport itself wasn’t anything great that I can remember, but mostly I remember that it always seemed to have some type of construction going on. I do have to put a disclaimer here, though: it has probably been 30 years since I was there.
The Best
I’ve only been to a few airports that I really like, but Tampa is one of them. It is clean, there are plenty of places to sit, eat, and shop, and it is also very easy to get in and out. Traffic is not usually bad, and the airport is well marked both inside and out.
My route now starts with Rio International, which is pretty good too. You do have to walk what seems like a very long distance from one point to the next, but overall, it’s a pretty nice airport.
The next stop is Miami, and I’ve never had a great experience there. It’s crowded, long, and a bit confusing.
So, based on my experience, Tampa is the best.
