What’s a place you visited that felt like home?

I’m not sure what we mean by “feels like home.” Do we mean home when I was a kid, or the home I built and started to raise a family in? Nothing actually has quite the same feel, good or bad.

I did decide to become an expat after retirement and move to Brazil. This makes a pretty great home for this time in my life. It is nothing like the others, and yet it feels like home every day.

It felt like home the very first time I came here 11 years ago.

Home is where your heart is – if it’s Brazil, cool!

We aettled in the Southern Tier of NYS over four and a half years ago and I simply can’t imagine living anywhere else now. Winters are cool (ever pun you can imagine intended). Spring, Summer, Fall – glorious up here in the mountains.

Kevin – live your life and love it. We are.

    1. I do! and thanks. I hope you are enjoying that retirement.
