Life Between Two Worlds
I’m an American retiree living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After more than forty years in the working world, I’ve traded corporate meetings and deadlines for a different pace of life, a little more time to think, and plenty of new things to figure out.
BeingKevin is where I write about that experience, along with the things that catch my attention, make me laugh, or make me wonder what on earth people are thinking.
Some days, that means sharing the realities of life in Brazil. Other days, it means poking fun at modern life, exploring history and books, or reflecting on work, retirement, technology, and the lessons that stay with us long after we leave the office.
There is no single theme that ties everything together except one: an honest point of view, a little humor, and the belief that there is always something worth noticing.
