My Cluttered Crazy Head

My Cluttered Crazy Head

Reading Time: 2 minutes

These things just pop into my head, no real rhyme or reason, they just do. I have heard many times, “What goes through your head?” and “What’s wrong with you?” That is my favorite. Believe it or not, sometimes I just wake up and stuff just comes to me. Here are a few

  1. Sometimes I’m watching a TV show, and on that show, people are watching a show that looks better than the one I’m watching. That gets me thinking.
  2. Did Wimpy ever pay for that hamburger? For you kids out there, this is a Popeye reference. Personally, I would tell Fat Wimy enough with the burgers, and Bluto can have Olive. Actually, Olive needs the burger.
  3. How did Humpdy Dumpdy get on that wall with those tiny legs? I mean, this was not well thought out, poor center of gravity. He is too fat and oval; those spindly legs are not getting him anywhere.
  4. Why do they call it an ottoman? Was it an empire? In my day, it was a footstool or a hassock, but an ottoman? I’m thinking of an invasion by the Turks.
  5. Jack and Jill did not go up that hill for water. Jack is not thinking about water, and Jill is a vixen.
  6. Thee blind mice? How did they know, and why are they after the farmer’s wife?
  7. If it is Tuesday and someone says, “Next Thursday,” what does that even mean? Is it this Thursday, which is the next Thursday, or the Thursday that is the following Thursday? It is a valid question; people don’t have the proper context.
  8. If a character is killed off in the first episode of a series and appears in flashbacks, are they paid the same as other characters, or are they pro-rated?
  9. Bonobo monkeys use solo and mutual stimulation to resolve conflicts and reduce anxiety. Sure, but if a human does that in public, it is a call to the police.
