I chose this as my Post of the Week because sometimes you come across something that stops you for a second and makes you pay attention.
This isn’t a big corporation, a viral trend, or a polished campaign. It started with an 11-year-old girl who simply saw animals in need and decided to do something about it. No committee. No waiting. Just action.
That matters.
In a world where it’s easy to scroll past problems or assume someone else will handle them, this is a reminder that real change often starts small with one person who cares enough to begin.
What she’s built since then isn’t just impressive, it’s meaningful. Turning that kind of compassion into a nonprofit takes effort, persistence, and a level of commitment most adults struggle to maintain. And she’s doing it for animals who don’t have a voice of their own.
That deserves more than a quick mention. It deserves attention, support, and respect.
There’s a link below to both the blog post and the organization’s website. Take a minute to check it out. See what she’s doing. Consider supporting it in whatever way you can.
I know I will be.
Because when someone chooses to make the world a little better—especially at that age—it’s worth noticing. And it’s worth standing behind.

I find these blogs just by reading anything I can find on WordPress. It is fun to find the special ones, call them out, and follow the good work.
Thanks for reading BeingKevin.
In a world built on scrolling past everything in seconds, I genuinely appreciate you stopping here for a moment. If the post gave you something to think about, made you laugh, or even made you disagree, I’d love to hear from you in the comments. A quick rating helps, too, and goes a long way toward supporting the site. And if you’d like to help keep BeingKevin going, a small tip is always appreciated — never expected, but deeply valued. Thanks again for being here
