I wish there were some magic formula! Because I have been conditioned by decades of getting up early for work or not even going to bed because I had to work through the night, I am an early riser. Also, it is not uncommon for me to wake between 2 and 3 am and just have thoughts run through my head; actually, blog ideas come to me when this happens.
One thing I have noticed, I have been going to the beach almost every day. I just sit there for 3-4 hours, either watching people play paddleball or staring at the waves and listening to the ocean. It is quite relaxing. Since I started doing this, I’ve been sleeping through the night most nights.
I also get plenty of sleep, always 6.5 to 7 hours a night. I am not lacking sleep, and the typical interruptions are almost gone, especially when I spend a few hours at the beach. My routine is to read a bit, then my eyes get tired, and I fall asleep pretty quickly.
