What is the best excuse you have heard lately?

Well, this just opened the door to my vast and otherwise useless Seinfeld knowledge.

Elaine: “Look, Jerry, we have to have sex to save the friendship.”

Jerry: “Sex… to save the friendship. Well, if we have to…”

Even for Seinfeld, there can’t possibly be a better excuse. The funniest part? It was Elaine’s idea.

I guess that’s why she never won the contest.
