What’s Your Home Decoration Style?
My home decorating style, as a married man, is whatever my wife says looks good.
I wear shirts with holes in them. I wear shorts for comfort, and I’ve been told they look like clown shorts. I like things roomy and practical, and I really have no idea, nor do I care too much, about how decorating is supposed to work.
When it comes to decorating the house, my wife makes the decisions. I just test-drive the furniture. If it’s comfortable, I can sit, lie down, and get back up without needing a paramedic, then it’s good enough for me. At least for now.
I consider my decorating contribution complete if I remember not to leave my coffee mug on the new table.
My role in interior design is quality control. If I can take a nap in the chair, it passes inspection.
On all matters of home decorating, she is unquestionably the boss.
