Blog Post: A Little Angel In The Snow

Why This Post Matters: A Voice for the Voiceless

We put a lot of “content” out into the digital world—jokes, daily observations, and passing thoughts. But every once in a while, you read something that doesn’t just stay on the screen; it hits you right in the heart. This blog piece is one of those rare posts that has real meaning and reminds us why it’s worth the time to read and write in the first place.

As someone who has shared my life and home with 20 different pets, I know firsthand that an animal’s love is often purer and more loyal than anything else we experience. They are my sanctuary, and honestly, I often find more peace in their company than in the company of people.

That is why it makes me more than just sad—it makes me truly angry—to see how many incredible souls are left homeless, abused, or suffering because of human neglect. We are supposed to be their protectors, yet humanity so often fails them. The way this blogger connected with an animal in need is a powerful wake-up call that we cannot afford to look away from.

These animals don’t have a voice, so we have to be theirs.

I have already reblogged this because this cause is urgent and deeply personal to me. It is more than just a well-written story; it is a reminder of our collective responsibility to the ones who love us unconditionally.

Please, take the time to read this, reflect on it, and reblog it. Let’s all do our part to change the narrative for those who have nowhere else to go

About Kevin, I spent 40 years in FinTech before retiring to

Rio de Janeiro to trade software releases for a front-row seat

to the beautiful absurdity of life in Brazil. This blog is my digital

porch, a place for unpolished commentary on book reviews,

daily gripes, and the random thoughts of a guy who finally has

the time to pay attention. I’m an observant realist with a deep

appreciation for history, a good quote, and the perspective that

only comes after the career ends. I write to stay sharp, to stay

honest, and to keep the conversation going.
