These questions need to be more exact: Which Olympics? I will start with the Winter Olympics. It would seem to be ice hockey, since that is the sport I played growing up and liked best, but the answer here will surprise you. I like any of the alpine events; downhill, slalom, moguls, all of them, and believe it or not, figure skating. I just think it takes tremendous strength, skill, balance, and dedication in practice to do some of those athletic moves.
For the summer Olympics, I like all the track and field events best because they require skill in so many areas, from strength to speed to quickness. It is very intense to watch. The decathlon is quite good because it involves many disciplines, training for it must be very difficult, and it spans a few days.
On a final note. I am not a fan of pro athletes in the Olympics. I think it should stay amateur, and a big reason I don’t watch team sports. We commercialize everything, and the Olympics should stay true to the idea and concept.
