What place in the world do you never want to visit? Why?

I think the world has to many great things to see, especially from history. I can’t say there is no place I wouldn’t want to go, unless it were physically dangerous or harmful in any way. Most people could not see a concentration camp, and I know that seems hard, but I would want to see it from the historical standpoint of the horrors a human could inflict on another human, and never forget.

I remember as a kid, there was a TV show called Scared Straight that brought kids into dangerous prisons in a controlled environment. They got to talk to inmates as a way to show them what can happen in a place like prison.

From a historical perspective, I would not want to see any place unless it is considered dangerous or life-threatening. I certainly would not visit Iran right now, but its culture and history are amazing; it is just too dangerous for obvious reasons

  1. That is a great way to view things. However, I would have a hard time with visiting the concentrations camps and death camps in Germany/Poland or the Genocide museum in Cambodja. It is just too scary and sad for me. It is great that you would be able to face that.

    1. Yea some places can be tough to visit and shocking to learn about. Thanks for the not.
