Topics I Like To Discuss

Reading Time: 2 minutes
Daily writing prompt
What topics do you like to discuss?

I’m pretty open to discussing anything, but my main interests are around history, religion (I know the two hot topics), sports, and books. I would not rule out anything because there is always a chance to learn something, especially if you know little about the subject. People forget that listening is a big part of discussing, also. What I don’t think is fun is trying to discuss something with people who have one mindset and their position is all there is, and they try to convince you. I am open to listening to other viewpoints and considering anything. It does not mean my position will change, nor should yours, but at least be open to discussing facts with logic and reason to defend your position.

  1. This is so true. How vanilla this world would be if we all have the same views on topics. I learn so much from what I read each day. What I find fascinating is how and why people have developed their thoughts. To see where their perspective stems from is so very interesting. This is why I love reading other blogs. Not everyone shares my view on life and that to me makes life more colorful.

    1. Hey thanks for the reply. I agree, we get many perspectives from these blogs just from the way people thing, view the world and where they live.
