If you could relive one year of your life, which one would it be?
What is with all these questions about picking the “best” year or choosing just one? How the hell am I supposed to pick one year out of an entire life? And how can you pick the best year when the life isn’t even over yet?
I can tell you the one year I definitely wouldn’t pick. The year I die.
Since I still have a few years to go—or at least I HOPE I do—I’m not exactly ready to start ranking my life like it’s some kind of greatest-hits album.
So no, I can’t pick one year. And honestly, I wouldn’t want to.
There were good years, bad years, strange years, and a few I’d just as soon leave buried where they are.
Besides, I’m not finished yet. Let’s see how the rest of this thing plays out before we start handing out awards.
