What are your best healthy eating habits?
I am a big seafood eater. I see food and I eat it.
This drives my wife crazy because she is constantly coming up with creative ways to get vegetables into my diet. She has been known to hide tiny pieces of onion, carrots, spinach, and kale in the rice. I eat that down with my beans & rice and somehow manage to choke them down.
My daughter, who is a registered dietitian, does not find it nearly as humorous when I send her pictures of myself eating a triple cheeseburger from Wendy’s. Fortunately, Wendy’s isn’t in Brazil, so she has to settle for pictures of the ridiculous amounts of cheese and beef I manage to find here.
I’m a meat and chicken guy, preferably with a heavy dose of cheese. Cheese goes with everything.
If it doesn’t moo or cluck, I’m probably not interested.
As Newman from Seinfeld so eloquently put it:
“Broccoli, that vile weed.”
I’m pretty sure that is the closest thing I have to a healthy eating philosophy.
